Meb is an incredible runner and even won the silver medal in the marathon at the 2012 Olympics. Meb has been working with his Physical Therapist and incorporating Active Release Techniques into his repertoire of training preparation tactics, and it’s obviously working for him!

According to the ART website, “every ART session is actually a combination of examination and treatment. The ART provider uses his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.” This description makes it easy to understand why a runner like Meb would immensely benefit from such treatment.

Dr. Mike Sullivan is certified and skilled in performing Active Release Techniques on his patients, whether they are athletes or not. Book your next appointment and discuss how ART can help you!
